Recently in the news there was an article about a 22 year old guy who flipped his car on the taconic and wasn't rescued until several days later. How did he survive you might ask? While his legs were severely injured from the crash, he was able to crawl out of the car and within 10 yards of the highway but unable to make it to the road. He survived by drinking water out of grass and was found with tons of mosquito bites. A word to the wise...always carry bug-spray in the your car, especially if you are a terrible driver.
